As you know at Realigro, we always want to give you a preview of the latest news relating to world real estate. Today we will focus in particular on a new record: the one relating to the tallest modular building in the world with 500 apartments and 135 m high. This building is based in the English capital. But let's not get lost in chat! If you too are here to learn more about this very special news, you just have to read the next lines! Together with us at Realigro, you are about to go on a record-breaking trip to England!

We assume that the fashion of prefabricated houses is becoming more and more popular. In fact, we started at the beginning, with mini prefabricated houses. That they could satisfy all needs while taking up little space. The right compromise between convenience and accessibility in terms of price. Over time, however, more and more people have decided to opt for prefabricated houses.

And like any fashion, it has finally reached much higher levels. The architectural firm HTA Design has created this truly fantastic and unprecedented project. The building was already completed last May and was nicknamed Ten Degrees. In addition to its stratospheric dimensions, this property immediately placed 546 apartments on the rental market. But not only. To make this incredible building unique, there is also the presence of an art gallery and a café inside two towers. The latter have an extension of 38 and 44 floors.

We are certainly not talking about a small project. But where is the building located?

For those who want to see it with their own eyes, they will have to go near East Croydon station. The choice of location is also very important, as, thanks to this new pearl of modular real estate, this district has been renamed as a '' cultural area ''.
For the construction of the building, different types of techniques and technologies were applied. Such as virtual reality and 3D printing for the various prototypes intended for the corner facade.
But how long did it take to finish it all off? Well, even in this case, you will be surprised. Considering that it took only 39 months!
In short, a record after record, which made the entire project truly incredible.

Furthermore, each residential floor, in addition to hosting the various living spaces, has direct connections with cohousing areas, gyms, social and recreational facilities. Last but not least, co-working spaces! As for the materials used, the metal structures for the balconies and terracotta for the decorations prevail. But in general, a minimalist look is maintained, punctuated by various panels that generate a zig-zag effect.

We are sure that after reading this column, you want to visit this spectacular result of real estate and design. But if you are also curious to know more about this and many other news that gravitate around the real estate sector, you can stay up to date. Always here, always on Realigro!
