When a country is for sale

The world of real estate never ceases to surprise us. It evolves according to fashions, needs and how we are able to see with our eyes, even during pandemics. To try to make our readings lighter, we decided to dedicate our news today to a very bizarre sale. In fact, a small village has been put up for sale in France. It seems absurd, but it is pure reality. But if you are interested in finding out more, simply read the following. We assume that it certainly does not happen every day to see a sale ad for a village.

But know, dear readers, that this is not just any village. Well, the object in question is a village dating back to the fifteenth century, in the Loire, exactly two hours from Paris. The price is 845,000 euros. But let's see together what this village is made up of. The extension is about eight hectares surrounded by woods, wonderful lakes where it is also possible to fish. An isolated area but at the same time ideal for those who love being in direct contact with nature. But let's go into detail. How many buildings are there in this area? As many as 14, all connected perfectly by rural paths, joined by wood-burning ovens, which perfectly evoke the atmosphere of the past. The only building with a respectable reception is the main one. This means that the area is easily convertible into a bed and breakfast system.

Obviously these are buildings that need to be completely restored, as the weather and the passage of time have significantly altered the buildings. In addition, it is possible to note the presence of ancient signs that demonstrate the ancient intended use of some structures. These include a boulangerie and a brasserie. The road signs have also remained almost intact. And this is precisely what makes this reality so special. And if you think such an ad was unsuccessful, well you are wrong. There have been many who have shown interest in becoming the investors of these 14 structures. But still no one has become the owner. Mainly due to Covid, which did not allow for the timely conclusion of the various contracts and which did not guarantee many to sign them due to the impossibility of visiting the place.

In fact, it should be noted that, as we have stated in previous guides, France has suffered a very strong backlash, both for the pandemic emergency and for the numerous and in some cases continuous terrorist attacks, which have shaken both the local population but also others nations. In fact, many, although fascinated by the most pristine French areas, were afraid to proceed with such an important step, such as investing in the brick market. We therefore do not know when this deal will be concluded, and who will be the lucky investor. But we are sure that we will constantly inform you about the trends in world real estate. Hoping that the pandemic emergency may be only a distant memory.
