Parent-child coexistence: design to the rescue!
Probably one of the elements that emerged during the lockdown was that relating to the difficult coexistence of parents and children within the home. It is not always obvious that spending too much time with parents or children is automatically pleasant. It seems absurd, yet, forced coexistence was not as natural as one would have expected.
Most of the interviewees, when asked '' What was more difficult during the quarantine? '', Replied '' to spend and share domestic spaces with their family members ''. But there were those who, even after this critical phase, decided to get to work, to find a possible solution even after Covid! And of course, at Realigro, we decided to give space to this bizarre but at the same time innovative idea. So, if you are ready, we are going to show you the secret of perfect coexistence!
The credit for this project is due to Tom Strala, a Swiss architect. He designed a house based on a careful sociological and psychological analysis. Architecture - he said - must support and facilitate sociology, becoming a real psychology of the construction of human relationships! In short, with this simple thought, Strala summed up a fundamental concept: the great ability of architecture and therefore of domestic spaces, to be able to facilitate or limit our well-being. So what was Tom's goal? Create environments that can positively influence the human psyche. In particular, that relating to the father-children relationship. The walls must therefore be both a connection but also a social separator. This reasoning seems to almost overturn the whole meaning of family. But in reality this is not the case. And we are about to reveal why. The project rests its foundations on two elements. The sliding doors with large windows and the outdoor terrace.
The ideal home must guarantee a continuum between spaces, while guaranteeing the desired privacy.
Is it ecstatic? Will she be compromised by all of this? Absolutely not ! The colors will help us in the process of making a perfect home for the family. The perfect contrast is given by midnight blue and cream. Two diametrically opposed but at the same time elegant colors. Both will give a sense of tranquility to all members of the family, guaranteeing general harmony.
It is therefore a question of adopting simple precautions, which can really make a difference. Obviously, there was no lack of criticism of this project, which, according to many, could limit sociality and general well-being.
