Smart village: the new post Covid trend

A new industrial revolution is the one being implemented right now. In a critical period like the one we are experiencing. We wonder what are the potential solutions to try to amortize these problems. Between doubts and uncertainties, what is called a new management project emerged. The one relating to the smart village. What does this novelty consist of? To find out more, just read the next lines, where we will show you this new project!

We must start from the assumption that change travels on two tracks. The first relates to a project entirely based on growth. The second, based on sustainable planning so that rural areas do not lose their traditional identity. A real challenge, which sees smart cities at the center of this game. In this column, however, reference will be made to the smart village, precisely to emphasize the importance of the areas most linked to rurality and which, unfortunately, nowadays have to deal with a world that is increasingly smart and a victim of change. So what are the areas on which to leverage in this phase of revolution? To better define them, we have decided to create a sort of list, which we present to you:

- Infrastructures also linked to telecommunications: a clear example? Wi-Fi, which allows you to create real networks even at the level of notoriety of the most confined places and subject to technological difficulties.
- Local distribution of alternative energy: through solar panels or thanks to so-called smart grids
- Distribution of food and basic necessities at the local level: necessary to promote the area itself, in terms of the recirculation of the economy within the area and the equitable distribution of the related industries.
- Smart mobility: understood as ease of movement by public transport, which must necessarily be designed in an eco-friendly manner
- Elimination of brownfields, with consequent redevelopment of the same also in production or co-working areas

How can all this be connected with real estate? Simply considering, thanks to these innovations, the most backward areas, suitable for the construction of tailor-made properties for a market increasingly subject to the pandemic crisis. Therefore, it is necessary to activate this project also to encourage both the construction sector, but also that of real estate, to move towards the direction of environmental, economic and social sustainability.

What scares the greats of real estate the most is the impossibility of movement by potential buyers. And therefore the lack of interest in this sector. Instead of devaluing the properties, it is necessary to opt for redevelopment solutions that are more compatible with the surrounding environment. It is therefore a question of reinventing the more rural areas and transforming them into new interesting centers for the national and, why not, also international brick.

So, if you are curious to find out which areas will be affected in this eco-friendly change process, or simply want to stay updated on how real estate will evolve in the coming days ... the solution is just a click away!
