What is happening to the Scottish real estate market?

Among the latest updates that we have noted, we certainly could not have overshadowed a nation that, unlike what we can imagine, does not seem to be particularly brilliant in the real estate market.

We are talking about Scotland. A nation known throughout the world for its greenery, ancient tradition, literature and wonderful castles. But just as wonderful are not the news that comes from this country. The latest news in fact related to this State, are not at all optimal: internal disorder, increasing need and incapacity to fully satisfy potential customers.
It would be too confusing to give an overview of the situation. Furthermore we believe it is important to define with order and precision every element that currently does not allow Scotland to recover as it should. Based on the statistical data available to us, we were able to create a mini map, designed to guarantee our readers a clear and defined vision.
We therefore begin with the economic-social reasons.
Having a roof over your head is one of the basic human needs.

This is obvious. But if the number of people increases? One of Scotland's critical elements is precisely the presence of a constantly growing population, the result of a long and slow immigration process towards this land.
A second point that is to the disadvantage of the Scottish economic-social situation is represented by the incapacity of post-recession recovery.

According to statistical data, buying and selling real estate is not part of the priorities of individuals who intend to settle in this land. Rather, it opts for the signing of lease contracts, which by nature are decidedly more flexible but which cause a phase of economic stagnation in the brick market.

After the financial collapse of previous years, sales volumes have plummeted and, currently, the number of transactions is not enough to fill this void.
Even the impossibility of turning mortgages, just after this black period for Scotland, has restricted the target market, which is increasingly limited and always with a more important financial availability.

Therefore the middle range disappears, which is why, certain types of properties, remain unsold or find it difficult to find interested buyers.
What is the most desired city currently in Scotland for rentals? Yes, at this stage it is also difficult to identify metropolises that may be convenient with regard to purchase contracts.
Immediately after Dundee, we identify Aberdeen, while both Glasgow and Edinburgh lose many points (almost untouchable!)

What is expected of the Scottish future? Like all critical periods, we know that cyclicality is an element at the base of these situations, which is why, it is assumed that there may be a recovery, albeit slow, during the following months of this 2019 which, for Scotland, is not started great.
