Real estate and smart city: perfect marriage

A recurring imperative in our everyday life is that relating to the need to make everything "smart". We are always looking for something that is intelligent, to be able to help anyone at any level.
Even in the context in which we live, we feel the need to speed up and respect certain sustainable parameters. The Greta Thunberg phenomenon is very popular, coming back into our culture. Well, today we will talk about how the concept of smart city is tied to the double plot with that of the real estate market.

But let's start with the main concept: smart city. What does it mean ?
The definition established by the European smart city commission is the following:
is a set of urban planning strategies aimed at optimizing and innovating public services so as to relate the physical infrastructures of the cities "with the human, intellectual and social capital of those who live there.
To simplify the concept, we can say that it is an ambitious project of residential redevelopment, oriented to the improvement of the conditions of individuals with sustainable actions.

From here, it is easy to understand the relevance in this area of the real estate sector. And there have been several projects promoted both by supranational communities and by individual countries, aimed precisely at strengthening this link.
Consider the Italian peninsula. In 2015 a real business was inaugurated with a single goal: to redevelop existing historic homes with new technologies and make them more accessible.

The aim is not only to create new volumes, but to replace those already on the market in terms of opportunities for new buyers. Safety, quality and adherence to the needs of citizens. These are the pillars on which the new policies based on the construction of new buildings are based.

But how much does this turnaround affect the market? Very much, considering that there are few realities that have not adhered to this project so challenging but also full of opportunities.
The smart houses in fact, and therefore the smart cities guarantee a radical improvement in the quality of life and housing, without affecting the artistic, cultural and landscape heritage.

One of the main fears, in fact, when these projects are adopted, is precisely that of ruining the cultural heritage or local beauties. Well, the attention towards sustainability is the key that allows these redevelopment plans to act in total serenity.
The positive paradox of smart cities is therefore to be rich in added values but also accessible and convenient. Did you know, in fact, that a citizen of a smart city ‘’ suffers ’a significantly lower cost of living compared to a‘ ’standard‘ ’reality?

This also makes it possible to speed up the smart revolution process. Let's think of Brazil. Within a few years, there is talk of an increase of 40,000 residents in a city converted to the smart mood. An exorbitant figure that bodes well as well as reflecting.

What to say, it is hoped that the combination of real estate - smart city can endure over time, and become a must for all urban realities.
