Milan and real estate luxury: the news

As we have previously mentioned, the rental property market is enjoying particular success. A little for the greater flexibility that is guaranteed to future tenants, a little for the convenience of payment spread over time. In short, the fact remains that the rental sector is growing at a dizzying pace.

In Italy, in one of the main cities of the boot, Milan, there has been a significant increase in the rental market. In the last semester, we talked about 4 percentage points more, while in the other big cities we talk about an increase of 0.8%.

A new trend is also emerging, always linked to lease agreements. That of short rents. According to the main statistical data, even in the coming years, the differences between traditional rent and short rent will even reach zero. There will therefore be a real cancellation.

To encourage this new trend, even the future Olympics in 2026, which will encourage many students but also workers to settle temporarily in this city. Over 200,000 new residents are expected!

But the real redevelopment process is part of the luxury market. There is a return to the 1950s, in terms of interior design. Anyone who has an "idea of home, can certainly not be delighted by the classic model of a Milanese bourgeois home.
A 'timeless elegance, devoid of excesses but at the same time particular. The environments return to be alive, rich in identity, but at the same time extremely functional. How will the most luxurious houses, ready to be rented, be structured?
Everything is focused on the redevelopment of spaces, giving greater importance to identifying spaces.
