The building boom in Germany continues: the latest news
We know that when we talk about European economic power, we cannot but think of Germany. It is in fact one of the most economically developed nations in the world. Do you want some numbers?
Third for volume of exchanges in dollars and for GDP in fifth place on a global scale for purchasing power and, on a European scale, occupies the first place! Despite the fact that 1999 represented for this State the loss of part of its autonomy, due to the adoption of the euro, Germany still remains one of the pillars of the entire international economic system.
This enviable strength involves all sectors, especially the real estate sector.
From 2017, in fact, building permits were issued for the construction of 340,000 homes, one of the highest figures compared to the famous 1999 one.
From here, the positive trend seemed to be unstoppable: 268,000 new residential units, 155,000 condominiums, 21,000 semi-detached and single-family homes.
It has not known limits, and still does not seem to encounter, even the building redevelopment. In fact, in the first half of 2019, approximately 47,800 properties were restructured, 40% of which represents a strong historical and cultural interest.
A considerable help was guaranteed by the many workers who, in search of fortune, decided to relocate to Germany. Why this choice? The reasons are varied. A little because the safety perceived in this country is very high, both in economic but also in social terms.
In addition, we must not underestimate the fact that we are talking about an ever-expanding economy that offers many job opportunities to many and varied professional figures. Foreign students, in addition, play an important role, considering that each year they are guests of the main universities for the Erasmus project. A substantial demographic increase therefore, which allowed the building sector first, and then real estate, to enrich itself and to increase its horizons precisely on the basis of the increasingly incisive demand of investors.
The strength of Germany is also represented by the great mental flexibility present in this country. In fact, it is not easy to understand customers' needs at first glance, especially if they are foreigners, especially if they come from various age groups and economics. Well, Germany has been great in this too, so much to find a great success for about 80% of potential European investors.
What to say, it seems that this positive wave does not want to stop. What is expected, in fact, is that the German economy, in these sectors, always continues with this trend, to the point of dragging the neighboring nations into this boom which, by their nature, present a historical and cultural background that is not so distant from the German one.
