Economy and environment: Australia is tinged with green

A unique and unique land of its kind. Buying a home in Australia, as a second home or for holidays, is a common choice for many European citizens who, tired of the monotony and often the absence of work, decide to change their socio-economic status.

The continent offers numerous attractions, as well as pristine landscapes that combine with sophisticated and modern architecture.
Despite a very strict tax system, all citizens have a very high standard of living, be they young or old.
In short, Australia is the continent for everyone!
It would be wrong to think that all the vitality of Australia is concentrated in the big cities.
In January 2018, in the heart of the city of Perth, a tour was created by the Green Building Council of Australia, on a 2-kilometer walk, during which it is possible to contemplate the preciousness of the Australian city in terms of Green Real Estate.

One of these, the Green Skills Training Center, awarded as the greenest public building in the state of Western Australia, for its modern photovoltaic system that produces 100% of the energy used, air conditioning and heating.
Since 2004, each building under construction in Australia has been assigned an evaluation parameter, the "Green Star". A motivational method for all builders and future buyers. And the control, on a national scale, is carried out by the GBCoA.

In Perth, green building is increasingly becoming the only way to design buildings, and citizens themselves are celebrating "Green Building Day". The last one was held on 1 June and was a day dedicated to the theme of sustainability in public buildings, in the presence of architects, technicians and representatives of the city's institutions.

The idea of developing a city in total harmony with the environment and on a human scale is now so widespread that last year the administration started a two-year project that provides financial support for business owners and property owners who they are concerned with meeting the "green" criteria.

Green construction, which has exploded in Perth in recent years, is a very common theme throughout Australia.
In the country there are many experiences of highly innovative constructions and 30% of all buildings present are currently certified "green".
The consequences?
Buildings built according to Australian "green" standards produce 62% less emissions, consume 50% less water and recycle 70% of waste.
The Commons building in Melbourne, for example, was recognized in 2013 as the most sustainable building in the country. The building, consisting of 24 apartments, does not have parking spaces, but only 65 parking spaces. Not only that: they are concrete cells able to completely isolate the interior from the outside, to the point that they do not provide an air conditioning system.
